The Economically 'Challanged' President
Emperor wears no clothes, film at 11.
Copped from Atrios .
Some progressives might say that this is a deliberate attempt by Karl Rove to use a misspelling to focus media attention of Boy George's phony plan to rape--uh, REFORM Social Security.
Myself, I belong to the camp that thinks that Boy George has dumbasses working for him and that if someone had told Boy George that the sign was misspelled, he wouldn't have given a shit, thinking that the American public are idiots anyway.

So how DO you steal an election?
Is it really THAT easy?
From Bartcop , I picked up a link called How to Hack the Vote: The Short Version , by Chuck Herrin.
I read it. It looks mighty convincing. Anyone with computer expertise care to read this and make a comment about its plausibility?

Washington's Heroine
She won't stand for billionaires pleading poverty!
It looks like the deal to move the Montreal Expos to Washington has hit a snag. Baseball's bigwigs wanted Washington to pay for the cost of the entire stadium, so a new owner could move in and make money hand over fist. Cropp suggested that baseball find private financing to pay for 1/2 of the cost. Now, the Lords of Baseball sound so infuriated they might take their ball and go home!
But really, what are they going to do? Go back to Montreal? I'm sure the citizens of Montreal would just love seeing the Expos back. Move the stadium somewhere else where the major promises a big, sloppy blowjob to Bud Selig? Not enough time.
Cropp had the thought that maybe, Washington had problems that weren't going to be solved by building a big stadium for rich congressmen to go to to entertain lobbyists while the city's schools paid the bill. I think I'm looking at the new mayor of Washington.

"Remember me?"
Hey, we really must be winning in Iraq. Poland's going to decrease the number of troops there. And after all, didn't Major General say that the insurgency was on its knees and that "in six months you are going to see some normalcy?"
Indeed the Iraqis are a free people today. And we owe it all to the capture of this man on December 14, 2003.
