Where Is The Outrage?

Seymour Hersh says the US government has videotapes of boys being sodomized at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
"The worst is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking," the reporter told an ACLU
convention last week. Hersh says there was "a massive amount of
criminal wrongdoing that was covered up at the highest command out
there, and higher."(I transcribed some of his speech from this streaming site. Hersh starts at about 1:07:50.)
He
called the prison scene "a series of massive crimes, criminal activity
by the president and the vice president, by this administration
anyway...war crimes."
The outrages have cost us the support of moderate Arabs, says Hersh. "They see us as a sexually perverse society."
Here's my question:
Why isn't this the Number One story in America right now? Why isn't CBC, ABC, NBC, CNN, HN, ESPN, Fox, the Discovery Channel and the Food Network investigating this story with an army of foot soldiers, 25 hours a day?
Why isn't this story on every liberal blog you can think of?
Atrios, Daily Kos, the Liberal Coalition, you name it, you heard it?
You know what the allegations are that Hersh is making?
1. That someone, somewhere in the United States Army command not only
a) ordered Iraqi guards to RAPE IRAQI CHILDREN -- and
b) someone was ordered to record this rape on videotape.
From what I understand -- and I could be wrong -- the reason these
child rapes were taped was so that they could be played to Iraqi
prisoners to break their will.
I'll say that if these allegations are proven to be true, if these
tapes surface, a crowd five million strong should march to the White
House, batter down the gates, and Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, and the
entire sorry, pathetic, subhuman lot of them should be marched in
chains -- naked -- through the streets of Washington while they are
pelted with garbage from the mob. Their heads should be shaved in
the same way the heads of the collaborator women in France were shaved
after World War II. They should be not be tried and
convicted. They should be sent to Guantanamo Bay, and beg decent
and honest people for a trial instead. They should be branded on
the foreheads so that all that is good and decent can get out of their
way when they are seen coming, lest their unwholesome shadow fall on
something, requiring a ritual cleansing not unlike those of the Old
Testament.
I am madder than a hornet right now. Now you know why I don't blog so much these days.
